a) Connect the adjustment control tachometer and start the engine.
Note: Reversing the polarity when connecting the tachometer will result in failure of the transistors and diodes.
b) Compare the readings of the control and standard tachometers.
c) If the error is higher than the permissible value, the tachometer should be replaced.
2. Checking the maximum speed sensor.
a) Measure the resistance between terminals 1 and 2 of the sensor.
Resistance is approximately 730 Ohm

b) Replace the sensor if the resistance value differs from the specified value.
