1. Checking the indicator.
A) Disconnect the connector from the parking brake sensor (for models with parking brake indicator).
b) Disconnect the connectors from the low brake fluid level switch and vacuum switch in the brake booster.
V) Short-circuit the terminals of the connectors on the wire side.
G) Turn on "ignition": The indicator should be on. If the indicator does not light up, then check the indicator lamp.
2. Checking the sensor-switch ps low level of brake fluid.
A) Check for continuity between the connector terminals when the float is raised.
b) Check for continuity between the connector terminals when the float is lowered.
V) sensor if it does not work as specified.
3. Checking the vacuum sensor-switch in the brake booster.
A) If there is no vacuum at the input, check for continuity between the terminal and the sensor housing.
b) Create a vacuum of 26.7±5.3 kPa.
V) Check for continuity at the terminal and sensor housing.
G) Replace the sensor if it does not work as specified.
