13" rims:
- Standard thickness - 10.0 mm
14" rims:
- Standard thickness - 12.0 mm
- Minimum thickness - 1.0 mm
Replace the brake pads if the brake lining thickness is less than the minimum allowable or uneven lining wear is detected.
2. Using a vernier caliper, measure the thickness of the brake disc.
13" rims:
Standard thickness - 22 mm
- Minimum thickness - 21 mm
14" rims:
- Standard thickness - 25 mm
- Minimum thickness - 24 mm
Replace the disc if the disc thickness is less than the minimum allowable.
3. Measure the runout of the brake disc at a distance of 10 mm from the outer edge.
- Maximum runout - 0.05 mm
If the brake disc runout is greater than or equal to the maximum value, check the bearing axial clearance and hub runout.
4. If necessary, adjust disc runout.
A) Remove the caliper bracket from the steering knuckle.
b) Loosen the wheel nuts and remove the disc.
V) Reinstall the disc by turning it 1/5 of a turn from its original position on the hub, and measure the disc runout on all installations. Choose the minimum value from those received. Compare it with the maximum allowed.
G) If the value obtained is less, install the disc in this position, install the caliper bracket and tighten the mounting bolts.
Torque:
- 13" wheels - 90 Nm
- 14" wheels - 96 Nm
d) If the value obtained is greater, replace the disk, and repeat the steps "V" And "G".
