13 inch wheels:
- Standard thickness - 10.0 mm
14 inch wheels:
- Standard thickness - 12.0 mm
- Minimum thickness - 1.0 mm

Replace the brake pads if the brake lining thickness is less than the minimum permitted or if uneven lining wear is detected.
2. Using a caliper, measure the thickness of the brake disc.
13 inch wheels:
Standard thickness - 22 mm
- Minimum thickness - 21 mm
(The original publication can be found on the website: «ToyotaMAN»)
14 inch wheels:
- Standard thickness - 25 mm
- Minimum thickness - 24 mm

Replace the disc if the disc thickness is less than the minimum allowable.
3. Measure the runout of the brake disc at a distance of 10 mm from the outer edge.
- Maximum runout - 0.05 mm
If the brake disc runout is greater than or equal to the maximum value, check the bearing axial clearance and hub runout.

4. If necessary, adjust the disc runout.
a) Remove the caliper bracket from the steering knuckle.

b) Loosen the wheel nuts and remove the disc.
c) Reinstall the disc by turning it 1/5 of a turn from the original position on the hub, measure the disc runout in all installation options. Select the minimum value obtained. Compare it with the maximum permissible.
d) If the obtained value is less, install the disc in this position, install the caliper bracket and tighten the mounting bolts.
Tightening torque:
- 13-inch wheels - 90 Nm
- 14 inch wheels - 96 Nm
d) If the obtained value is greater, replace the disk and repeat steps "c" and "d".
