Note: Install the parts as shown in the figure.
1. Apply high temperature grease to the brake shield as shown in the figure.
2. Apply high temperature grease to the regulator as shown in the figure.
3. Connect the parking brake cable to the lever.
a) Install the holders, spring seats and holder springs.
b) Connect the parking brake cable to the lever.
4. Install the rear shoe after compressing the holder spring.
Caution: Do not allow oil or grease to come into contact with the friction surfaces.
5. Install the return spring, front brake shoe and adjuster.
a) Connect the return spring to the rear shoe.
b) Connect the return spring to the front shoe.
c) Install the adjuster between the front and rear pads.
d) Install the front shoe after compressing the holder spring.
6. Install the spacer plate with the spring facing the front shoe.
7. Using the special tool, install the shoe tension springs.
8. Install the brake disc.
a) Before assembly, sand the disc and pad surfaces with sandpaper.

b) Align the hole on the rear axle hub and the technological hole on the disk.
9. Adjust the parking brake shoe clearance.
a) Temporarily install the wheel nuts.
b) Remove the plug.
c) Turn the adjuster to move the pads apart until they lock the disc.

d) Loosen the adjuster by eight teeth.
d) Install the plug.
10. Install the rear caliper assembly and tighten the two mounting bolts.
- Tightening torque - 47 Nm
11. Install the rear wheel.
- Tightening torque - 105 Nm
12. While driving the vehicle at low speed on a dry, clean and level road, pull the parking brake lever so that the shoes press against the drum. Make sure that the shoes are bedded in.
13. Check and adjust the travel of the parking brake lever.
