2. Install the spring compression stop and bushing on the piston rod as shown in the figure.

3. Install the spring.
a) Using the special tool, compress the spring.
b) Install the spring on the rack.
Note: Install the lower end of the spring into the groove of the lower strut seat.

c) Install the upper support as shown in the figure.

d) Secure the support with a nut.
d) Remove the special tool from the spring.
Note: After removing the special tool, check again that the upper support is installed correctly.
4. Install the rear suspension strut assembly.
a) Attach the shock absorber strut to the knuckle using two bolts and nuts.
b) Apply engine oil to the nut threads.
c) Jack up the knuckle to align the holes in the strut and knuckle. Tighten the two bolts and nuts.
- Tightening torque - 260 Nm
c) Tighten the three nuts of the upper strut support.
- Tightening torque - 40 Nm
d) Tighten the shock absorber strut nut.
- Tightening torque - 50 Nm
d) Install the plug.
5. Connect the stabilizer bar to the rear suspension strut.
- Tightening torque - 65 Nm
6. Connect the brake hose and speed sensor to the rack.
Tightening torque:
- Speed sensor bolt (2WD) - 8 Nm
- Speed sensor bolt (4WD) - 20 Nm
- Speed sensor wire bolt - 5 Nm
- Brake hose bolt - 19 Nm
7. Install the rear wheel.
- Tightening torque - 105 Nm
8. Install the rear shelf.
9. Install the additional brake light and the decorative brake light cover.
10. Install the rear pillar side trim.
11. Install the seat belt.
12. Install the rear seat cushion and backrest.
