1. Support the front wheels with wheel chocks. Jack up the back of the car and place it on jack stands.
2. Support the rear axle assembly with a trolley jack.
3. Pass the safety chain through the coils of the spring and bolt the ends together, thus eliminating the risk of accidental popping of the spring during the lowering of the rear axle assembly, make sure that the chain has enough length to allow the spring to fully extend.
4. Give a bolt of the bottom fastening of the left back shock-absorber (see Section Removal and installation of rear shock absorbers).
5. Disconnect the anti-roll bar from the rear axle (see Section Removal and installation of a bar of the back stabilizer of cross-section stability).
6. Give a bolt of the bottom fastening of the right back shock-absorber (see Section Removal and installation of rear shock absorbers).
7. Disconnect the torque rod from the rear axle (see Section Removal and installation of a torque rod).
8. Slowly lower the rear axle assembly, leaving enough room to remove the spring, being careful not to damage the brake lines.
9. Installation is carried out in the reverse order. Make sure that the end of the spring is seated correctly in the seat. Tighten all fasteners to the required torque.
