Lower and trailing arms (2WD) — removal [Toyota Carina T190]

1. Jack up the car and remove the rear wheel.

2. Remove the center muffler pipe.

3. Disconnect the parking brake cable.



4. Unscrew the two bolts and nuts and remove the trailing arm.



6. Remove lower suspension arm No.2.



6. Remove lower suspension arm No.1.

a) Place a jack under the rear beam.

b) Unscrew the six bolts.



c) Lower the rear beam.

d) Remove lower suspension arm No.1 with two bolts and a washer.
