Remove both compression rings with the special tool (pic. 2.331).
Manually remove the oil scraper elements (scrapers and ring expander).

Using a screwdriver, remove the circlips (pic. 2.332).
Gradually heat the piston to a temperature of 80–90°C. Using a plastic-tipped hammer and copper rod, knock out the piston pin and remove the connecting rod.
Note. If necessary, mark the piston and connecting rod to ensure correct assembly. Do not dismantle the piston and piston pin. Lay out the parts of the piston group as a set.
Use a scraper to remove carbon deposits and other carbon deposits from the piston crown. Clean the piston grooves from deposits with a piece of a broken ring.
Check piston and piston rings.
