Note: Installation is in reverse order of removal.
1. Drain the oil from the gearbox housing.
2. Disconnect the cardan shaft from the gearbox.
A) Loosen the four screw connections indicated in the figure.
b) Place a rag as shown in the illustration so as not to damage the seal.
V) Using a brass rod and a hammer, remove the propeller shaft
G) Remove the four mounting bolts and disconnect the cardan shaft.
Note: Fix the cardan shaft.
3. Disconnect the drive shafts from the gearbox.
Note: Secure the drive shafts.
4. Remove the rear beam.
4. Remove the gearbox.
A) Place a jack under the gearbox.
b) Loosen the two rear support bolts.
- Tightening torque - 150 Nm
V) Remove the two front mounting bolts.
- Tightening torque - 105 Nm
G) Loosen the two bolts and remove the gearbox.
- Tightening torque - 130 Nm
Removal and installation of a reducer
1 - rear drive shaft,
2 - bushing,
3 - reducer,
4 - drive shaft,
5 - cardan shaft,
6 - bolt,
7 - crossbar,
8 - gasket,
9 - exhaust pipe.
