Removing
Remove brake pads.
Remove the union nut of the brake pipe from the back of the wheel cylinder.
Attention: Place a container under the escaping brake fluid. Comply with the rules for handling brake fluid.
Unscrew both wheel cylinder mounting bolts on the reverse side of the brake shield.
Remove wheel cylinder.
Close the brake hose with a plug.
Installation
Install the wheel cylinder on the brake shield and tighten the mounting bolts to 10 Nm.
Remove the plug, connect the hose and tighten the union nut to 15 Nm.
Install brake pads.
Pump the system. As a rule, it is enough to pump only the wheel cylinder. If the pedal after that turns out to be soft, it is necessary to pump the entire system.
Press the brake pedal vigorously several times. At the same time, the rear wheel brake adjustment mechanism is installed.
