Caution: When removing the fuel pump, fuel may leak out. Gasoline vapors are especially dangerous and can cause fire and poisoning. Therefore, special attention must be paid to good ventilation of the working area. Avoid contact of fuel with the skin of the human body. Wear only shoes that protect your feet well. Open flames are not allowed. There is a risk of fire!
Removing
Disconnect ground cable (-) from the battery.
Attention: As a result, the records of the on-board computer are erased, in particular, the records of the malfunction code of the radio receiver. Before disconnecting the battery, read the contents of the section "Removing and installing the battery".
Remove air filter.
Remove the filter holder mounting bolts, if any.
Remove the throttle lever return spring.
Remove the throttle and starter cable. Pre-mark the position of the cable sheath with a felt-tip pen.
Attention: Do not bend the cable, otherwise it may lead to its breakage during operation.
Disconnect the vacuum hoses from the carburetor body and mark with adhesive tape.
Disconnect electrical connections and label them.
Disconnect the fuel hoses and plug them, after loosening the fastening clamps and sliding them back. As a plug for hoses, you can use a clean bolt of the appropriate diameter.
Loosen the carburetor mounting nuts and remove the carburetor.
Cover the suction pipe with a clean cloth to prevent dirt from entering it.
Installation
Take off the rag. Reinstall the carburetor with a new gasket and secure it.
Connect the vacuum hoses to the carburetor according to the markings.
Connect the fuel hose and secure it with a clamp.
Connect the gas cable and the starting damper. Connect the cable sheath according to the marking.
Connect the throttle lever return spring.
Bolt the air filter holder, if equipped.
Install air filter.
Connect ground cable (-) with rechargeable battery.
Set the time on the clock, if any, and enter the security code into the radio.
Check idle speed and CO concentration. Adjust if necessary.
