2. If equipped, remove the crankcase protection.
3. Remove the torsion bar (see Section Removal and installation of torsion bars).
4. Detach the stabilizer bar post and disconnect the lower shock mount from the lower suspension arm (see Section Removal and installation of forward shock-absorbers).
5. Disconnect a rotary fist from the bottom lever.
6. Give bolts and nuts and remove the lever (refer to accompanying illustration).
7. Installation is carried out in the reverse order. Tighten all fasteners to the required torque.
Note. The axle bolts/nuts must be tightened after the vehicle is lowered to the ground.
