1. Support the front wheels with wheel chocks. Loosen rear wheel nuts. Jack up the back of the car and place it on jack stands. Remove rear wheels.
2. Support the rear axle with a trolley jack. Remove the parking brake cable bracket from the rear axle housing.
3. Disconnect the lower end of the shock absorber from the support bracket on the rear axle assembly (refer to accompanying illustration).
4. Give a nut of fastening of the top end of the shock-absorber (refer to accompanying illustration), access to the nut is extremely limited, so it will be easier to fix it with a wrench and rotate the shock absorber.
5. Installation is carried out in the reverse order. Make sure that the mounting components of the upper shock absorber mount are properly seated (refer to accompanying illustration). Tighten all fasteners to the required torque.
