Examination
1. When checking, the engine must be slightly raised to unload the supports.
2. Raise the vehicle and place it on stands, then place a stand under the engine oil pan. Lay a board between the pallet and stand, lower the car slightly.
3. Check the supports for cracks, hardening, or delamination from the metal base.
4. Check if the support plates move relative to the engine or frame (to do this, shake the supports with a mount, or a large screwdriver). If movement is felt, lower the engine and tighten the mounts.
5. To slow down aging, lubricate the rubber parts of the supports with a preservative.
Replacement
1. Disconnect the battery from the mass, raise the car and place it on stands.
2. Loosen the nut through the support bolt.
3. Raise the engine (jack or hoist), remove the bolt and remove the support.
4. Installation is carried out in the reverse order. Lubricate threads of nuts and bolts with locking compound and tighten securely.
