Engine oil pan 3F-E

Removing
1. Disconnect the battery from the ground.
2. Raise the front of the car.
3. Drain the oil and remove the oil filter.
4. Disconnect the exhaust pipe from the manifold.
5. Remove the starter and bell housing cover.
6. Loosen the pan bolts (see fig. Engine oil pan 3F-E) and remove the oil pan. If necessary, move the pallet with light blows of a wooden or rubber mallet.
Installation
1. Remove the remnants of the seal from the split planes of the cylinder block and sump. Wash the sealing surfaces with solvent.
2. Install a new gasket.
3. Install the pallet and tighten the bolts. Tighten the pan bolts to the specified torque, starting at the corners and continuing diagonally.
4. Further assembly is carried out in the reverse order. Fill the engine with oil and replace the filter. Start the engine and check for leaks.
