Removing and checking the steering knuckle lever (DYNA 100)
1. Remove the front wheel.
2. Disconnect the tie rod assembly by first removing the two cotter pins and unscrewing the two nuts.
3. Remove the steering knuckle arm by first removing the cotter pin and unscrewing the two nuts.
4. Remove the locking bolts and remove the plugs.
5. Check the lever for damage and wear.
Installing the steering knuckle arm (DYNA 100)
1. Install stop bolts and plugs.
2. Install the steering knuckle arm.
A) Install the steering knuckle arm to the knuckle, tighten with two nuts and insert a new cotter pin.
- Tightening torque - 87 Nm
3. Connect steering draft in gathering to the lever of a rotary fist, tighten a nut and insert a new cotter pin.
- Tightening torque - 91 Nm
4. Install the front wheel.
