2. Unscrew the bolts securing the speed sensor wire and the sensor.
3. Unscrew the brake hose mounting bolt.
4. Unscrew the two bolts and remove the caliper assembly. Hang the caliper assembly on a wire.
Caution: Do not disconnect the brake hose.
5. Mark the brake disc and hub and remove the disc.
Caution: Avoid getting oil on the brake disc.
6. Check the bearing axial clearance and hub runout.

d) Using a dial indicator, check the bearing axial clearance.
- Maximum gap - 0.05 mm
If the bearing clearance exceeds the specified value, replace the bearing.

7. Install the brake disc and caliper assembly. Remove the cotter pin, lock nut cap and unscrew the lock nut with the brake pedal depressed.
8. Disconnect the steering rod ends from the steering knuckle arms.
9. Loosen the nuts securing the steering knuckle to the strut.
Caution: Do not remove the bolts.
10. Remove the bolt and nuts and disconnect the lower suspension arm from the ball joint.
Caution: Be careful not to damage the boot.
11. Tap the drive shaft with a plastic hammer to loosen it from the splines.
12. Holding the drive shaft, remove the knuckle with the hub.
Caution: Be careful not to damage the drive shaft cover and the rotor of the speed sensor (ABS).
