2. Turn away bolts of fastening of a wire of the gauge of frequency of rotation and the gauge.
3. Turn away a bolt of fastening of a brake hose.
4. Turn away two bolts and remove a support in gathering. Hang the caliper assembly on the wire.
Caution: Do not disconnect the brake hose.
5. Mark the brake disc and hub and remove the disc.
Caution: Avoid getting oil on the brake disc.
6. Check bearing end play and hub runout.
V) Remove the brake disc.
G) Using a dial indicator, check the axial clearance of the bearing.
- Maximum clearance - 0.05 mm
If the bearing clearance exceeds the specified value, replace the bearing.
d) Using a dial gauge, check the hub runout.
- Maximum runout - 0.07 mm
If the runout is greater than the specified value, replace the hub.
7. Install the brake disc and caliper assembly. Remove the cotter pin, locknut cap and unscrew the locknut with the brake pedal depressed.
8. Disconnect the tie rod ends from the steering knuckle arms.
9. Loosen the nuts securing the steering knuckle to the rack.
Attention: do not remove the bolts.
10. Turn away a bolt and nuts and disconnect the lower suspension arm from a spherical hinge.
Caution: Be careful not to damage the boot.
11. Tap the drive shaft with a plastic mallet to remove it from the splines.
12. While holding the drive shaft, remove the fist with the hub.
Caution: be careful not to damage the driveshaft boot and speed sensor rotor (ABS).
