- Disconnect the electrical connector from the brake fluid level control switch.
- Unscrew both brake hoses from the cylinder. Close the ends of the hoses.
- Unscrew the master brake cylinder from the front side of the brake booster and carefully remove the cylinder, being careful not to drip brake fluid onto the painted surfaces.
- Remove the gasket from the power steering.
The brake cylinder is installed in the reverse order. Adjust the free travel of the brake pedal (chapter 15.1.1) and also get acquainted with chapter 15.7, which describes the adjustment of the brake booster. After installation, remove air from the brake system (chapter 15.6).
