- All work on the injection device must be carried out in absolutely clean conditions. Work outdoors should only be carried out on calm days to avoid dust ingress.
- Before unscrewing the union nuts, they should be thoroughly wiped with a cloth.
- Place all removed parts on a clean workbench and cover with paper or film. Do not cover parts with rags with lint.
- Unless repairs are made immediately, all exposed or partially disassembled parts of the injection device must be appropriately covered or stored in closed boxes.
- Before installing parts, check their cleanliness.
- When the device is opened, do not use compressed air to blow through engine parts.
- If possible, do not move the vehicle with the injection device parts removed.
- Do not allow diesel fuel to come into contact with the hoses. If this happens, clean the hoses immediately. Hoses damaged by diesel fuel must be replaced.
