Removal the compressor [Toyota Carina T190]

1. Start the engine and set it to idle mode, then turn on the air conditioner and let it run for 10 minutes.

2. Turn off the engine.

3. Disconnect the negative terminal from the battery.

4. Discharge the air conditioning system (see subsection "Installing the pressure gauge block and discharging the system").

5. (Engines 4A-FE, 5A-FE). Loosen pulley mounting nut "A", loosen adjusting bolt "B" and remove the compressor drive belt.



6. (Engines 4S-FE, 3S-FE). Loosen the mounting bolts "A", "B", loosen the adjusting bolt "C" as shown in the figure and remove the compressor drive belt.



7. (Engine 2C). Loosen the fastening nut "A", loosen the adjusting bolt "B" and remove the compressor drive belt.



8. Unscrew the two mounting bolts and disconnect the pipes with the outlet and supply of refrigerant.









9. Loosen the mounting bolts and remove the compressor.
