Use an ohmmeter to measure the resistance between the pump leads.
- Rated resistance - 0.2-3.0 Ohm
If the resistance is out of range, replace the fuel pump.
2. Check the operation of the fuel pump. Connect the wire from the pump output to the positive battery terminal and the wire from the output to the negative terminal. Make sure the pump is running.
Attention:
- - The test must be completed within 10 seconds to avoid winding burnout
- - The fuel pump must be located as far as possible from the battery.
- - Connect and disconnect wires only to the battery.
