
2. Connect contacts +B and Fp with an additional wire on the control connector (see Fig. Electrical diagram of the fuel pump power supply). On models with a 1MZ-FE V6 engine since 1994, check the fuel pump for operability by supplying battery voltage to the fuel pump via additional wires, and determine the operability of the fuel pump by the noise of the running electric motor.
3. Remove the additional shorting wire and close the control connector cover.
4. If the fuel pump does not operate during testing, check the following electrical components: EFI unit 15A fuse; fuse AM2 30A; eFI main relay; fuel pump; electric pump power supply circuits and connectors (see Fig. Electrical diagram of the fuel pump power supply).
