2. Remove the timing belt.
3. Remove the dipstick.
4. Remove the crankshaft sprocket.
5. (Model 2WD) Remove the exhaust pipe mounting brackets.
6. (Model 4WD) Remove the hardener.
7. Remove the oil pan.
A) Turn 21 (2WD) or 20 (4WD) bolts and 3 nuts.
b) Insert a blade between the oil softener and the oil pan, cut off the sealant and remove the oil pan.
Note: Be careful not to damage the oil pan flange.
8. Remove the oil softener.
A) Turn away 7 (2WD) or 3 (4WD) bolt.
b) Insert a blade between the cylinder block and the oil separator, cut off the sealant and remove the oil separator.
Note: Be careful not to damage the oil softener.
9. Remove the alternator adjusting bar.
10. Remove the oil pump by unscrewing the 9 mounting bolts.
