2. Remove the timing belt.
3. Remove the intermediate pulley.
4. Remove the crankshaft toothed pulley.
5. Remove the oil dipstick.
6. (2WD model) Remove the center beam.
7. Remove the exhaust pipe.
8. (2WD model) Remove the manifold stand.
9. (2WD model) Remove the stiffener.
10. (2WD model) Remove the left stiffener.
11. Remove the oil pan and oil pump.
a) Remove the oil dipstick and unscrew 17 bolts and 2 nuts.

b) Insert a sharp blade between the mating surfaces of the cylinder block and the oil pan, cut off the seal and remove the oil pan.

Notes:
- - Be careful not to damage the tray flange.
- - Do not use this method when removing the oil pump and crankshaft end seal holder.
12. Remove the oil separator and oil receiver with mesh filter.

13. Unscrew 12 bolts and remove the oil pump.
