A) Warm up the transmission fluid to operating temperature (50-80°C).
b) Unscrew the service plug of the gearbox housing and connect a pressure gauge in its place. Set the parking brake and chock the wheels.
Attention: carry out the check with two people - one person should observe the wheels or wheel stoppers, and the second person should carry out the check.
2. Measure the pressure.
A) Disconnect the automatic transmission electronic control unit connector.
b) Start the engine.
V) Apply battery voltage to terminals "25" (+) -"24" (-) (solenoid valve No. 2) And "26" (+) - "24" (-) (solenoid valve No. 1). Check the pressure as shown in the table "Line pressure (A540N until 1994) ".
