Note: install in the reverse order of removal.
1. Wash the outer surfaces of the gearbox housing.
2. Unscrew the drain plug in the gearbox pan and drain the working fluid into a suitable container.
- Tightening torque - 18 Nm
Turn away bolts of fastening of the pallet. Remove the pan and gasket.
Note: some liquid always remains in the sump. Be careful not to damage the fill tube and O-ring.
- Tightening torque - 5 Nm
Installation note: Fix the magnets in the gearbox pan as shown in the figure.
A241L, A241E
A245E until 1994
A245E since 1994
4. (A241L)
Disconnect the overdrive solenoid connector.
5. (A241E)
Disconnect the three solenoid valve connectors.
6. (A245E)

7. (A245E since 1994)
Disconnect the solenoid valve connectors.
6. Disconnect the throttle control cable.
A) Disconnect the cable from the cam in the gearbox.
b) Turn away a bolt of fastening of a cable and take a cable.
- Tightening torque - 5.5 Nm
Installation note: If the cable is new, install a stopper on the inner cable.
A) Bend the cable so that the bending radius is about 200 mm.
b) Pull the inner cable out until there is little resistance. Hold it in this position.
V) Install the stopper at a distance of 0.8-1.5 mm from the end of the outer sheath, as shown in the figure.
Note: Adjust throttle control cable after installation.
