Pic. 4.2. Front suspension components
Thanks to the optimal layout of the nodes, the front suspension provides a smooth and comfortable ride, excellent handling and flotation.
Maintenance recommendation
Before disposing of the shock absorber, the low pressure gas must be bled from the shock absorber for safety reasons.
Shock absorber
Pic. 4.3. Front shock absorber
To ensure directional stability and smooth running, the car is equipped with gas-filled (N2) low pressure shock absorbers with linear valve.
Valve design with linear characteristic
Pic. 4.4. Valve design with linear characteristic
The linear valve consists of the following parts: C-valve, check valve and check valve. These valves form a multilayer structure with through holes. At low piston speeds, fluid flows through the slots in the valves, creating a damping force.
By using a valve with a linear characteristic, a constant damping force is ensured at low piston speeds and, as a result, a smooth running of the vehicle.
Front wheel axle
Pic. 4.5. Front axle design
The front wheel axle is mounted on a double-row angular contact ball bearing with low rolling resistance.
The axle is securely fastened with a 12-point locknut. This locknut is not reusable.
