Removal



1. Raise the front of the car.



2. Remove the stabilizer rods. On FJ60, 62 vehicles, remember the order of assembling the stabilizer rod parts - plates and bushings.



3. To remove the rods, simply unscrew the bolts from the brackets.



4. Loosen the bushing clamp bolts and remove the stabilizer.



5. Remove the stabilizer bushings and check the condition of the bushings. Damaged bushings (cracks, hardening of rubber and other signs) replace. If necessary, replace the stabilizer link bushings.

Installation



1. Install new bushings.

2. Insert the bushings into the clamps and install the stabilizer. Do not tighten the bolts.

3. Install the rods and tighten the nuts to the specified torque.

4. Tighten the stabilizer bolts to the specified torque.
