Front suspension
Removal
Attention! To remove the springs you will need a device to compress them.
1. Raise the front of the vehicle and remove the front wheels.
2. Place supports under the bridge beam.
3. Disconnect the stabilizer rods and shock absorbers from the axle beam.
4. Carefully lower the bridge until the springs are fully extended.
5. Compress the springs with the tool.
6. Remove the springs.
Installation
1. Check the condition of the springs; if cracks are found or if the springs are corroded, replace them.
2. Compress the spring and install it in place, making sure that the spring (A) is correctly installed in the lower cup (B).
3. Then the installation is carried out in reverse order.
Rear springs
Removal
1. Raise the rear of the vehicle and remove the wheels.
2. Place supports under the bridge beam.
3. Disconnect the stabilizer brackets and shock absorbers from the bridge beam.
4. Loosen the crossbar bolt and move the bar to the side.
5. Carefully lower the bridge until the springs are fully extended. Remove the spring by grasping the lower end.
6. Check the condition of the springs; if cracks are found or if the springs are corroded, replace them.
Installation
1. Installation of the rear springs is carried out in the reverse order.
2. Tighten all fasteners to the specified torque.
3. Make sure the springs are installed correctly. The lower end of the spring should rest against the cup stop.
