Front suspension
Removing
Attention! To remove the springs, you will need a tool to compress them.
1. Raise the front of the car and remove the front wheels.
2. Place pedestals under the bridge beam.
3. Disconnect the stabilizer links and shock absorbers from the axle beam.
4. Carefully lower the bridge until the springs are fully extended.
5. Compress the springs with a tool.
6. Remove the springs.
Installation
1. Check the condition of the springs, if cracks are found or if the springs are corroded, replace them.
2. Compress the spring and install in place, making sure the spring is installed correctly (A) in the bottom cup (IN).
3. Further installation is carried out in the reverse order.
Rear springs
Removing
1. Raise the rear of the car and remove the wheels.
2. Place pedestals under the bridge beam.
3. Disconnect the stabilizer brackets and shock absorbers from the axle beam.
4. Loosen the cross bar bolt and move the bar to the side.
5. Carefully lower the bridge until the springs are fully extended. Remove the spring by grasping the lower end.
6. Check the condition of the springs, if cracks are found or if the springs are corroded, replace them.
Installation
1. The rear springs are installed in the reverse order.
2. Tighten all fasteners to the specified torque.
3. Track correctness of installation of springs. The lower end of the spring should rest against the cup stop.
