Checking glow plugs
1. Turn off the ignition.
2. Disconnect the wire from the glow plug.
3. Measure the resistance between the terminal and the glow plug housing
Resistance ~ 0.65 Ohm

Removal and installation glow plugs
Removal
1. Turn off the ignition.
2. Remove the air intake duct.
3. Disconnect the wire from the glow plug.
4. Remove the glow plug.
Installation
1. Remove carbon deposits from the spark plug socket (a 6mm drill with a length of 54mm will do)
2. Clean the spark plug seat in the cylinder head and wipe dry.
3. Clean the heating element and glow plug threads.
4. Lightly lubricate the glow plug cone seat with anti-seize grease.
5. Install the glow plug and tighten to the specified torque
Tightening torque of glow plugs - 13 Nm
6. Connect the wire to the glow plug.
7. Tighten the fastening nut.
8. Install the removed parts in the reverse order of removal.
Glow Plug Relay
Checking the work
Note: Please observe the polarity of power supply connection, otherwise the relay may be damaged.
1. Turn off the ignition.
2. Remove the relay.
3. Measure the resistance between the relay terminals.
4. Connect battery power to the indicated relay terminals.
5. Measure the resistance between the relay terminals.
Terminals B1 and G2.
Power - Resistance
no - infinity
there is - zero
