Examination
1. Disconnect the electrical connector from the cold start fuel injector.
2. Using an ohmmeter, check the resistance between the cold start fuel injector terminals.
3. Connect the electrical connector to the cold start injector.
Removing

1. Relieve the pressure in the fuel system.
2. Remove the ground wire from the battery.
Attention! If your radio has an anti-theft code, check that you have the pairing codes before disconnecting the battery.
Attention! On models since 1993, the airbag system is disabled if the battery is disconnected for an extended period. If the airbag warning light comes on and stays on after reconnecting the battery, take it to a specialist workshop to restore the system to normal.
3. Disconnect the electrical connector from the cold start fuel injector.
4. Remove the bolt securing the fuel supply hose to the cold start fuel injector.
5. Unscrew the two nuts and remove the cold start fuel injector from the engine along with the gasket (see fig. Cold start fuel injector).
Installation
6. Installation is made in sequence, return to removal.
