Disassembly, inspection and assembly
1. Loosen the bolt, remove the nut, spring washer and two washers.
2. Remove the outer shift lever and washer, then remove the inner shift lever.
3. Replacing the inner shift lever seal (if necessary).
a) Using a flat-blade screwdriver, remove the oil seal.

b) Using a mandrel and hammer, press in the new seal.
c) Apply grease to the seal lip.
4. Install the inner shift lever, then install the washer and outer shift lever.
5. Install the nut, spring washer, two washers and tighten the bolt.
Caution: Do not damage the working edge of the oil seal during assembly.
