Rear output shaft bearing holders.1 - front bearing holder, 2 - bearing outer race, 3 - bearing outer race, 4 - adjusting washer, 5 - oil baffle plate, 6 - rear bearing holder, 7 - oil seal, 8 - speedometer drive driven gear, 9 - driven gear bushing speedometer drive, 10 - stuffing box, 11 - O-ring.
Check and repair
1. Replacing the outer race of the output shaft rear bearing (if necessary).
A) Loosen the bolt and remove the low reflective plate.
b) Using the special tool, remove the rear bearing outer race and shim from the holder.
V) Install the shim into the rear bearing holder.
Attention: install the shim that has been removed from the holder (see paragraph (b)).
G) Using the special tool, press the new rear bearing outer race into the holder.
Caution: Replace both bearing races as a set.
d) Install the low-reflective plate and tighten the mounting bolt.
Tightening torque - 8.8 N.m
2. Replacing the rear output shaft seal (if necessary).
A) Using a flat blade screwdriver, remove the oil seal from the rear bearing holder.
b) Using a mandrel and a hammer, press in a new oil seal.
V) Apply grease to the seal face.
3. Replacing the oil seal of the driven gear of the speedometer drive (if necessary).
A) Using the special tool, remove the oil seal and bushings.
b) Using a special mandrel, press a new oil seal into the bushing.
Depth of pressing - 20 mm
