Checking and repair
1. Replacing the outer race of the rear bearing of the output shaft (if necessary).
a) Loosen the bolt and remove the low-reflectivity plate.
b) Using a special tool, remove the outer race of the rear bearing and the adjusting washer from the holder.
c) Install the adjusting washer into the rear bearing holder.
Caution: Install the adjusting washer that was removed from the holder (see point (b)).
d) Using a special tool, press the new outer race of the rear bearing into the holder.
Caution: Replace both bearing races as a set.
d) Install the low-reflectivity plate and tighten the mounting bolt.
Tightening torque: 8.8 Nm
2. Replacing the rear output shaft seal (if necessary).
a) Using a flat-blade screwdriver, remove the oil seal from the rear bearing retainer.

b) Using a mandrel and hammer, press in the new seal.

c) Apply consistent grease to the working surface of the seal.
3. Replacing the speedometer drive driven gear seal (if necessary).
a) Using a special tool, remove the oil seal and bushings.

b) Using a special mandrel, press the new seal into the bushing.
Pressing depth - 20 mm
