Holding the terminals of the rectifier block with round-nose pliers, solder the wires of the stator winding to the terminals of the block.
Warning: Keep the rectifier valves away from heat.
2. (For generator with electronic voltage regulator). Install the electronic voltage regulator and, holding the terminals of the electronic voltage regulator with round nose pliers, solder the contacts.
Warning: Do not heat up the rectifier valves.
3. Assemble the rectifier box and generator cover from the side of the rectifier box.
(For generators with mechanical voltage regulator)
A) Install the insulator (1) generator electrical connector.
b) Install two insulating washers (2) to positive (+) rectifier terminals.
(For generators with electronic voltage regulator)
A) Install the insulating washers (1) to positive (+) rectifier terminals.
b) Install two shock absorbers (2) on the brush holder and the electrical connector of the generator.
V) Install the alternator cover from the side of the rectifier box onto the rectifier box.
G) Set the insulating washers to positive (+) conclusions (hairpins) rectifier block.
d) Install the capacitor and wire holder.
e) Install and tighten four nuts.
and) Check that the wires do not touch the generator cover on the rectifier side.
4. Install the rotor.
A) (For generator models 40A and 45A)
Install retaining ring (1) and spacer on the rotor shaft.
b) (For generator models 40A and 45A). Install the spacer on the rotor shaft.
V) Using a press, press the rotor into the generator cover from the drive side.
5. Install fan and alternator pulley.
Clamp the rotor in a soft-jawed vise, slide the distance sleeve onto the rotor shaft. Install the alternator fan, pulley and spring washer (grower) on the rotor shaft. Tighten the alternator pulley nut.
- Tightening torque - 61 Nm
6. Assemble the alternator cover on the drive side and the alternator cover on the rectifier side.
A) Bend the wires of the rectifier unit so that they do not touch the rotor.
b) Using a curved tool, sink the brushes as deep as possible and fix them with a hard wire passed through the technological hole in the generator cover from the side of the rectifier unit.
V) Assemble the alternator drive side and rectifier side covers so that the alternator rotor rear bearing fits into the opening of the rectifier side cover.
d) Tighten the three pinch bolts.
e) Through the technological hole, remove the steel wire holding the brushes.
and) Make sure the rotor rotates freely.
h) Seal the technological opening in the cover of the generator from the side of the rectifier unit.
