Checking the rear stabilizer bar [Toyota Carina T190]

Check the rotation moment of the stabilizer bar ball joint.

a) Before installing the nut, rock the ball joint axle from side to side 5 times.



b) Using a torque wrench, rotate the nut continuously (one revolution in 2-4 seconds) and take a reading on the fifth revolution.

• Scrolling moment - 0.05-1.0 Nm

If the torque is not within the norm, replace the stabilizer bar.
