a) Install the parts on the front left drive shaft and rear drive shafts in the following order:
- outer hinge cover,
- four clamps,
- inner hinge cover,
Note: Before installing the boot, wrap electrical tape around the drive shaft splines to prevent damage to the boot.

b) Install the parts on the front right drive shaft in the following order:
- - outer hinge cover,
- - two clamps,
- - damper (4A-FE, 5A-FE, 2C (2WD), 3S-FE (4WD)),
- - damper clamp (4A-FE, 5A-FE, 2C (2WD), 3S-FE (4WD)),
- - two clamps,
- - inner hinge cover.

2. Install the triple joint.
a) Align the marks on the shaft and joint.

b) Using a brass rod and a hammer, press the triple joint onto the drive shaft.

c) Install a new retaining ring onto the shaft.

3. Install the inner joint collar.
a) Apply grease to the collar and joint.
Note: When assembling, use grease intended for hinges only.
- The amount of lubricant is 180-190 g.
b) Align the marks on the sleeve and drive shaft.

4. Install the inner hinge covers.
a) Install the inner hinge cover.
Note: Do not apply grease to the groove of the outer ring where the boot is installed.
b) Using a screwdriver, install two clamps onto the inner hinge cover.
2. Install the triple joint.
a) Align the marks on the shaft and joint.

c) Tighten the clamps.
Note: Do not damage the case.
5. Install the outer hinge cover.
a) Apply grease to the boot and to the hinge shaft.
Note: When assembling, use grease intended for hinges only.
- The amount of lubricant is 120 -130 g.
b) Install the cover on the shaft groove.
Note: Do not damage the case.
c) Install two clamps on the cover.

d) Tighten the clamps.
6. (4A-FE, 5A-FE, 2C (2WD), 3S-FE (4WD) right drive shaft)
Install the front drive shaft dampers.
a) Install the damper into the shaft groove.
Note: Do not confuse the installation direction.
Nominal distance:
- 4A-FE, 5A-FE - 426.6-436.6 mm
- 2C (2WD) - 346.5-356.5 mm
- 3S-FE (4WD) — 205.0 mm

b) Install the clamps on the damper.
7. Check the drive shaft.
