Removing
Place the car on a lift.
Unscrew the bolts securing the exhaust pipe of the muffler from the exhaust pipe, lower the pipe and hang it to the body on a wire.
Unscrew the bolts of the power unit supports and the supports of the transverse suspension arms.
Remove stabilizer together with rubber mounts.
Installation
Before installation, check the condition of the rubber mounts. If there are pores or damage, replace the bearings.
Vehicles up to 4/87: Tighten the clamps of the stabilizer rubber mounts on the bottom of the vehicle to 20 Nm.
Vehicles from 5/87: Install the stabilizer rubber mounts so that they are next to the color markings. In addition, the arrow at the bottom must point forward in the direction of travel. Secure the stabilizer support to the transverse arm rear bearing with 50 Nm.
Check stabilizer arms. If they have ball joints, check their mobility by hand. They should move easily, but without play.
Cars up to 4/87 of release. Fasten the stabilizer arms with washers to the control arm with new self-locking nuts to 20 Nm.
Vehicles from 5/87: Tighten ball joint nuts to 35 Nm.
Install exhaust pipe, by tightening the fastening nuts with a force of 45 Nm.
