- Long undamped vibrations of the body when driving on rough roads.
- Rocking of the body when driving over bumps.
- Vzdyblivanie car during acceleration.
- Wheel bouncing on normal road surface.
- Sudden forward movement of the body when braking (there may be other reasons).
- Unsteady cornering due to poor traction. Car rolls.
- Squeak while driving. The shock absorber can be checked by hand. If checking the shock absorber is possible, then using special equipment.
Checking by hand
Remove shock absorber.
While holding the shock absorber in the working position, compress and decompress.
Throughout the entire stroke, the shock absorber should move evenly heavily and without jerking.
Fully push the shock absorber rod, and then release it. The stem should extend at a uniform rate.
Traces of oil on the shock absorber rod are not a sign of damage to the shock absorber and do not indicate the need to replace it.
In case of significant oil leakage, the shock absorber should be replaced.
Caution: The shock absorber must be degassed before being disposed of.
Install shock absorber.
Recycling the front shock absorber
Loosen the round nut on the shock absorber 2-3 turns, relieving the gas pressure completely.
Disposal of the rear shock absorber
Drill a hole with a diameter of 2-3 mm at the location indicated in fig. G-3801 by depressurizing the gas.
Note: The gas in the shock absorber is colorless, odorless and non-toxic.
