Note. Centering bolts are used to fasten the hinges and the hood lock. The hood and hood latch cannot be adjusted with the center bolts installed. When adjusting, the centering bolts should be replaced with standard bolts (with washers) (pic. 8.32).
Bolt tightening torque for which no value is given can be found in the table at the beginning of the section.
Check the hood.
Make sure that the distances marked A to F do not exceed the nominal values.

Verification conditions
Pic. 8.35. Gap between hood and front fender
Adjust the gap between the hood and the front fender. Make sure the clearance is within tolerances (pic. 8.35).
Rated value (WITH): 4.0±1.5 mm.
After adjustment, tighten the bolts securing the hinge to the hood.
Tightening torque: 11.5 Nm.
Pic. 8.36. Buffer adjustment
Adjust the height of the hood relative to the wings using rubber buffers (pic. 8.36).
Rotate to increase or decrease the height of the rubber buffers. Make sure the gap is within the tolerances.
Rated value (IN): 0.0±1.5 mm.
Adjust the hood latch.
Loosen 3 bolts.
Pic. 8.37. Hood lock adjustment
Adjust the position of the hood lock until the latch begins to enter it freely (pic. 8.37).
After adjustment, tighten the 3 bolts.
Tightening torque: 8.0 Nm.
