1. Remove the receiver and disconnect the plug. Attach the wire (cord) to the antenna and disconnect all latches and clamps along the antenna route.
2. On vehicles with a fixed antenna, unscrew the antenna mast nut.
3. Using pliers, unscrew the nut securing the antenna base.
4. On vehicles with an electric antenna drive, unscrew the screws securing the electric motor to the mudguard.
5. Pull the antenna out so that the cord is visible. Attach the cord to the new antenna cable and pull the cable into the passenger compartment.
6. Then the installation is carried out in reverse order.
