Side direction indicator lamps





1. On early production vehicles (FJ60, 62), unscrew the turn signal lamp screws and remove the lamp.



2. On late production vehicles (FJ80), remove the upper indicator mounting screw.



3. Remove the turn signal housing and disconnect the connector. Turn the bulb holder counterclockwise and remove it from the housing.



4. The lamp is installed in the reverse order.

Front turn signal lamps





1. Loosen the mounting screws (indicated by arrows) optical element of the pointer.

2. Turn the holder counterclockwise and remove.

3. The lamp is installed in the reverse order.

Brake light, tail light and rear turn signal lamps





1. On early production cars (FJ60, 62), unscrew the lamp screws. Remove the bulb by pressing and turning counterclockwise.


2. On late production vehicles (FJ80), open the rear compartment door and remove the screws securing the tail light housing to the door opening, then remove the lamp screw and remove the tail light assembly.



3. Remove the holder by turning it counterclockwise and pulling to remove the lamp.

4. Installation is carried out in reverse order.

License plate light





1. Loosen the mounting screws and remove the lampshade, then take out the lamp.

2. The lamp is installed in the reverse order.

Instrument cluster illumination lamp



1. Remove the instrument panel (see subsection 11.10). The lamp is removed from the back of the shield.



2. To remove, turn the lamp counterclockwise.

3. Installation is carried out in reverse order.
