Removing
1. Relieve residual fuel pressure (see chapter "fuel injection system (EFI)").
2. Remove the battery from the pallet.
Note: when the wire is disconnected from the battery, the volatile memory of the control unit, radio is reset. Be sure to read fault codes from the ECU before disconnecting the battery.
3. Drain the coolant.
4. Drain the engine oil.
5. Remove the air filter.
6. Remove the radiator.
7. Remove a forward reception pipe of system of release.
8. Remove the power unit.
9. Remove the coolant hose.
10. Remove the oil pan.
11. Remove ignition coils.
12. Remove the cylinder head cover.
13. Remove the timing chain (see section "Timing chain").
14. Remove camshafts (see section "Camshafts").
15. Disconnect the accelerator cable.
16. Disconnect the injector connectors.
17. Remove the cylinder head.
A) Disconnect all connectors, grounds and hoses.
Timing chain cover. Sealing locations.
b) Turn out bolts in the sequence shown in drawing, and remove a head of the block of cylinders with inlet and final collectors in gathering.
Disassembly, inspection, cleaning and repair of the cylinder head
The procedures for disassembling, checking, cleaning, repairing and assembling cylinder head parts are described in chapter "Engine - General Repair Procedures".
Installation
1. Install gasket and cylinder head with intake and exhaust manifolds.
A) Check the length of the cylinder head bolts at the distance shown in the figure. Replace the bolt if its diameter is outside the specified limits.
- Limit diameter - 8.75 mm
b) Apply sealant to the gasket at the locations shown in the illustration and install the cylinder head.
Note:
- The cylinder head must be installed within the time specified in the instructions for use of the sealant.
- Do not drop pushrods from the cylinder head.
V) Install the washers on the bare cylinder block. Apply engine oil to the threads and under the bolt heads.
G) Wrap the cylinder head bolts in several passes in the sequence shown in the figure.
- Tightening torque - 45 Nm
d) Paint a mark on the edge of the bolt. Tighten the bolts by 90°. Make sure all marks are rotated 90°from their original position.
2. Connect the accelerator wire.
3. Install the camshafts (see section "Camshafts").
4. Install the timing chain (see section "Timing chain").
5. Install the cylinder head cover.
6. Install ignition coils.
7. Install the oil pan.
8. Install the coolant hose.
9. Install the power package.
10. Establish a forward reception pipe of system of release.
11. Install the heatsink.
12. Install the air filter.
13. Fill in engine oil.
14. Fill in coolant.
15. Install the tray and battery.
