Removal
Disconnect the ground (-) cable from the battery.
Warning: This will erase the entries in the on-board computer memory, in particular the fault record and the radio receiver code. Before disconnecting the battery, please read the section "Removal and installation the battery".
Remove the hose between the air filter and the throttle valve fitting.
Disconnect the fuel line between the cold start valve and the fuel line.
Disconnect the vacuum hose from the fuel pressure regulator.
Disconnect the plug connections of the injection valves.

Disconnect the fuel return hose at the fuel line, having first loosened the clamp.
Disconnect the fuel supply hose at the fuel line.
Caution: The hose is under pressure. Before disconnecting, cover it with a rag to protect it from fuel spray.

Remove the fuel line mounting bolts.
The fuel line with injection valves has been removed.
Caution: Remove the manifold carefully. Do not drop the injection valves.
Unscrew the injection valves from the line.
Remove the trunk line spacer ring.
Remove the insulators from the injection valve nozzle holes.
Installation

Caution: Replace O-rings and valve O-rings.

Insert injection valves with new sealing rings into the upper part of the fuel line. Pre-wet the rings with gasoline.
Engine capacity 1.3 l

Engine capacity 1.6 l

Install spacer rings and insulators.
Install the fuel line with injection valves into the cylinder head.
Check if the injection valves rotate easily. If not, remove and reinstall them, checking the position of the sealing ring.
Turn the injection valves so that their plugs are facing upwards.
Install the mounting bolts and tighten them. Tightening forces:
- 1.3 l engine - 20 Nm
- 1.6L engine - 15 Nm
Attach the vacuum hose to the fuel pressure regulator.
Attach the fuel return hose and secure it with a clamp.
Install the fuel supply hose with two new sealing gaskets and tighten it to 30 Nm.
Secure the fuel supply hose to the cold start valve with new gaskets.
Connect the plug connections of the injection valves.
Install the suction hose in place.
Connect the ground (-) cable to the battery.
Set the time on the clock, if there is one, and enter the security code into the radio receiver.
