1. Conical washer and nut; 2. Hub cap and gasket; 3. Retaining ring; 4. Hub housing and gasket

Removal and installation



Manual locking hub



1. Move the hub cap to the Free position (hub unlocked).

2. Loosen the mounting bolts and remove the union nut together with the coupling.

3. Remove the retaining ring.

4. Loosen the hub housing nuts.

5. Using a brass hammer, loosen and remove the conical washer.

6. Remove the hub housing.

7. If further disassembly of the hub coupling is required for cleaning, pay particular attention to the order in which the parts are assembled.



8. Clean all parts one by one, without disturbing their order.

9. Assemble the coupling in the reverse order of disassembly.

10. Assembly is carried out in reverse order.

11. Replace all gaskets and lubricate the splines with general purpose grease.

12. Move the handle to the Free position and install the cap flange so that the ears on the flange fit into the grooves of the body.

Self-locking hub





1. Remove the cap.



2. Loosen the flange mounting bolts.



3. Using a brass hammer, loosen and remove the conical washer.





4. Remove the retaining ring and remove the hub.

5. Assembly is carried out in reverse order.
