Replacement
1. Remove the driveshaft.
2. Clamp the shaft in a vice, mark the position of the hinge forks and remove the bearing cup retaining rings.
3. Press out the bearing cup.

4. To do this, install the crosspiece in a vice through the bushing on one side and through the mandrel on the other.

5. Squeeze the vice until the bearing cup is at the very edge of the fork. Use a gas wrench or pliers to remove the bearing cup.
6. Reposition the mandrel and bushing and press out the opposite cup.
7. After removing the glasses, clean the fork thoroughly.
8. Place grease in the new cups to prevent the needles from falling out during assembly.
9. Install the crosspiece and insert the cup into the fork.
10. Orient the crosspiece so that the direction of the grease nipple matches the direction of the grease nipple on the opposite end of the shaft (if oilers are provided).
11. Insert the crosspiece into the bearing, insert the opposite bearing.
12. Carefully, without damaging the seals, press in the bearings, aligning them with the crosspiece journals.
13. Install the rings.
14. If necessary, tap the fork firmly to ensure the rings are in place.
15. If the rings do not fit into the grooves, disassemble the joint and check the freedom of rotation of the bearings on the crosspiece journals.
16. Install the driveshaft.
17. Lubricate the crosspieces (if there are oilers).
