Freewheel clutch with manual locking. 1 - gasket, 2 - retaining rings, 3 - freewheel clutch wheel, 4 - spacer, 5 - inner hub, 6 - freewheel clutch housing, 7 - conical washer, 8 - retaining ring, 9 - gasket, 10 - clutch, 11 - spring, 12 - carrier, 13 - compression spring, 14 - retaining ring, 15 - lock and seal, 16 - ball and spring, 17 - freewheel clutch cover.


Removal



1. Removing the freewheel clutch cover.

a) Set the lock to the "FREE" position (unlocked).



b) Unscrew the 6 bolts securing the freewheel clutch cover and remove the cover.

2. Remove the retaining ring from the freewheel housing.

3. Removing the freewheel clutch housing.

a) Unscrew the mounting nuts and remove them together with the washers.



b) Using a brass rod and hammer, remove the conical washers from the coupling housing mounting bolts.

c) Remove the freewheel housing.

Installation



1. Installing the freewheel clutch housing.

a) Install a new gasket on the front axle hub.

b) Install the coupling body with six conical washers, regular washers and nuts. Tighten the fastening nuts.

Tightening torque: 31 Nm.

2. Installing the retaining ring.

a) Screw the bolt into the axle shaft and pull it out.

b) Using pliers, install the retaining ring in place, then remove the bolt.



3. Apply grease to the inner hub splines.

4. Installing the freewheel clutch cover.

a) Set the lock to the "FREE" position (unlocked).



b) Install a new gasket into the cover.



c) Install the cover on the housing. When installing, the carrier tabs must be aligned with the recess in the housing.



d) Install and tighten the six cover mounting bolts.

Tightening torque: 10 Nm.
