Pedal height
Pedal height refers to the distance between the floor and the pedal. If the pedal height does not meet technical requirements, it must be adjusted.
Checking and adjusting
1. To adjust the clutch pedal height, loosen the pushrod lock nut, adjust the height, and tighten the lock nut.
2. When adjusting the brake pedal height, loosen the lock nut on the brake light switch and pull the switch back. Adjust the pedal height.
3. Adjust the switch gap.
Free pedal travel
Pedal free play refers to the distance the pedal travels before the brake system or clutch begins to engage.
Measure the free travel of both pedals. To adjust the pedals, loosen the locknuts on their pushrods (before adjusting the brake pedal, press it several times), adjust the gaps and tighten the nuts.
Brake pedal travel reserve
Start the engine, press the brake pedal and measure the distance from the pedal to the floor. If the distance is less than the value required in the technical specifications, it is necessary to eliminate the faults in the brake system.
