Disassembly
1. Raise the vehicle and place support stands under the frame.
2. Remove the front wheels of the car.
3. Disconnect the brake pipe, unscrew the two bolts and remove the caliper assembly.

4. Remove the freewheel clutch (see the relevant section).
5. Removing the hub assembly with the brake disc.
a) Use a screwdriver to loosen the lock washer.

b) Using a special tool, remove the lock nut.
c) Remove the lock washer.
d) Using a special tool, unscrew the adjusting nut.
d) Remove the wheel hub assembly with the brake disc.
Note: For models with automatic locking clutches, wrap electrical tape around the end of the steering knuckle axle before removing the hub.

7. Removing the inner bearing and seal.
a) Using a special tool, remove the seal from the hub.

b) Remove the inner bearing from the wheel hub.
Checking and repair
1. Clean the bearings and inner rings and check them for wear or damage.
2. Replacing the outer bearing ring.
a) Using a brass rod and a hammer, knock out the outer bearing ring.

b) Using a special mandrel, carefully install the new outer bearing ring.
3. Replacing the hub bolts.
a) Apply marks to the wheel hub and brake disc.
b) Unscrew the six bolts and remove the brake disc from the wheel hub.
c) Install the nuts on the hub bolts.
d) Using an extension and a press, press out the hub bolts.

d) Using an extension and a press, press in the new hub bolts.
e) Align the marks and install the brake disc on the wheel hub.
The tightening torque of the bolts is 64 Nm.
Assembly
1. Packing consistent grease into bearings.
a) Apply lubricant into the palm of your hand.
b) Pack this grease into the bearing until the grease starts to ooze out.
c) Apply packing around the entire circumference of the bearing.
2. Apply grease to the inner surface of the hub.

3. Installing the inner bearing and seal.
a) Install the inner bearing into the hub.
b) Using a drift and hammer, install the seal into the hub.
c) Apply consistent grease to the seal.

4. Install the hub onto the wheel axle, then install the outer bearing and thrust washer.
5. Adjusting the hub bearing preload.
a) For models with automatic locking clutches: Remove the tape from the steering knuckle shaft end.
b) Using the special tool, tighten the bearing adjusting nut.
Tightening torque - 59 Nm
Caution: Be careful not to damage the seal.
c) Turn the hub right and left two or three times.
d) Loosen the nut so that it can be turned by hand.
d) Using the special tool, re-tighten the bearing adjusting nut.
Tightening torque - 59 Nm
e) Loosen the nut so that it can be turned by hand,
g) Using the special tool, re-tighten the adjusting nut.
Tightening torque: 5.4 Nm
c) Using a spring dynamometer, measure the preload.
Preload - 27 - 56 N

6. Installing the lock washer and lock nut.
a) Install the lock washer and lock nut.
b) Using the special tool, tighten the lock nut.
Tightening torque - 64 Nm
c) Check for axial play in the bearing.
d) Using a spring dynamometer, measure the preload.
Preload - 27 - 56 N
d) If the preload is not within the standard, adjust it using the adjusting nut,
e) Secure the lock nut by bending one tab of the lock washer inward and the other tab outward.

7. Install the freewheel clutch.
8. Installing the brake caliper.
a) Connect the caliper to the steering knuckle. Tighten the mounting bolts.
Tightening torque - 123 Nm
6) Using a special tool, connect the brake pipe.
Tightening torque - 15 Nm
9. Bleed the brake system.
