A) Install the key into the groove of the shaft.
b) Align the groove of the pulley with the key, put the pulley on the shaft.
V) While holding the camshaft, tighten the pulley mounting bolt to 98 Nm.
2. Install valve cover and intake duct (see above).
3. Check the alignment of the alignment marks on the driven and driving gears of the camshaft with benchmarks (TDC in the 4th cylinder). If the marks do not match, turn the shaft (distributive or crankshaft) until the mark is aligned with the benchmark.
Attention: in case of inaccurate alignment of the marks, the valves may hit the pistons.
4. Put the belt on the gear wheels, align the marks on the belt with the marks on the wheels, observing the direction of rotation mark.
5. Install the washer and tensioner pulley. Tighten the fastening bolt to 34 Nm. Check the smooth rotation of the roller. If the rotation is not smooth, check that the washer is installed correctly.
6. Installing the tensioner.
A) Using a press, slowly insert the tensioner plunger into the body until the holes in the plunger and body line up
b) Insert a 1.5 mm rod into the hole
V) Install the tensioner on the engine by pushing the tensioner pulley towards the belt. Tighten the two mounting bolts to 13 Nm.
G) Remove the tensioner fixing bar.
7. Turn the crankshaft two turns clockwise, check the alignment of all marks with the benchmarks.

8. Installing the belt cover.
A) Remove any remaining old sealant.
b) Apply sealant to the places indicated by the arrows.
9. Install a new gasket and belt cover.
