During operation, the breaker contacts wear out, visible signs of this are sagging and craters. In addition, the plastic block wears out. As a result, the gap between the contacts of the breaker increases. As a result of this - a decrease in the power of the ignition spark. The gap between the contacts should be checked during maintenance and, when a certain degree of wear is reached, the contacts should be changed.
